Leonardo DiCaprio, acting from a 20 to now

LeonardoDiCaprio, if you don't know him, then you may know the Jack from Titanic, Jay Gatsby from The Great Gatsby, Jordan Belfort from The Wolf of Wall Street, Dom Cobb from the Inception, Hugh Glass from The Revenant, which makes him finally get Best Actor Award on Oscar Award. Not like the other movies he played, The Revenant not just gives him a nominate in Oscar but made him become the winner of it. This is a photo found online, when Leonardo DiCaprio was youngFrom two photos, it is not hard to see, Leonardo become more vicissitudes. Some people may think that Leonardo not that charming boy from Titanic anymore, but the reason makes him famous and win the award, is not because his outlook, but his acting skill. I don't know if Leonardo had shape his outlook for all the charactars he played, but he did work hard on The Revenant. 

“I can name 30 or 40 sequences that were some of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do,” what Leonardo had told to Yahoo Movies “Whether it’s going in and out of frozen rivers, or sleeping in animal carcasses, or what I ate on set. [I was] enduring freezing cold and possible hypothermia constantly.”

Just compare with The Revenant and Titanic, we can see that Leonardo is not that young boy we knew from a classic remantic story, he become a more mature, experienced actor. Leonardo's successed today he has, it not given by his outlook, charming, but his acting skill, and what he's giving to his acting career. Like The Revenant, Leonardo experinced a lot of "tortures", like the cold enviroment, character's bitterness he needs to show in the movie. It is not a easy thing for actor to act an experience he or she never experienced, which it easy to tell how hard the actor works on the charters.

Actors shouldn't shape themslves for one specific character, there are many actors gain or lose their weight for the role they want to play or the one they are playing and want to continue play it. Like Leonardo, his acting skill is the reason to help him win the award not how charming he is.
